Leading Behaviour Support Specialist

Yooralla is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Behaviour Support Specialist to join our dedicated team.
We are committed to providing support to children and adults with disability who present with behaviours of concern. Our approach focuses on increasing quality of life and decreasing the frequency and severity of behaviours of concern through Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
About YoorallaAs Victoria's most established and recognised for-purpose disability service provider, we offer high-quality support services to people with disability. Our qualified multidisciplinary team uses a bio-psychosocial framework to provide holistic and meaningful supports and training to people with disability and their support networks.
About the RoleThis role involves demonstrating effectiveness through direct clinical work, managing a complex clinical caseload using person/family-centred frameworks and evidence-informed interventions, and providing supervision to Positive Behaviour Support teams. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with and supporting people with disabilities, demonstrating an ethical, client-focused approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate effectiveness through direct clinical work.
- Manage a complex clinical caseload using person/family-centred frameworks and evidence-informed interventions.
- Provide supervision to Positive Behaviour Support teams.
- Develop Interim Behaviour Support Plans and conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Implement and adapt strategies to different environments.
The successful candidate will be required to have registration as an Advanced/Specialist Practitioner under the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Proficient/Advanced Practitioner, and post-graduate qualification in psychology (preferred but not essential). A competitive salary of $120,000 - $135,000 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging options, is available.
