About the Role

The Senior Change Engagement Officer plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating transformation efforts, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications for education projects. This position aligns with the Department's objectives to enhance financial services for education stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Finance transformation activities to support enhanced financial services.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies across multiple media channels.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate stakeholder engagement and drive change initiatives forward.
  • Provide guidance on innovative communication methodologies and tools.
  • Maintain and evaluate communications and engagements to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare data-driven materials for stakeholder communications and engagements.
  • Identify emerging issues and develop recommendations to address their potential impact.
Essential Requirements:
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to public education.
  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • A valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check).
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and communications, specifically relating to organisational change and reform.
