About the Role:

The Manager, Portfolio Management plays a pivotal role in driving transformation delivery and portfolio performance within a dynamic team.

This leadership position requires a proactive, analytical leader who can operate with autonomy and influence across teams to drive strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of portfolio initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Take ownership of delivery milestones and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of transformation projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify and escalate risks or blockers.
  • Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and portfolio outcomes.
  • Evaluate tools and practices that can scale transformation efforts.
  • Develop high-impact content and reporting that informs executive decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on portfolio priorities and transformation opportunities.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to optimise business processes across the portfolio.
  • Apply structured methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance value delivery.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of process changes, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Model productive work practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience in portfolio or project coordination, ideally within a technology or transformation context.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content development and reporting tools.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology, or a related field are desirable.
