About the Role:
The Construction Manager is a key position within RNR CONSTRUCTION LLC, responsible for the development and implementation of project construction plans to ensure design, technical, and quality standards are achieved safely within allocated time and budget parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to.
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress of construction plans in respect of time, cost, and quality.
- Monitor construction work for compliance with engineering design specifications, client standards, and statutory regulations.
- Review and appraise contractors/sub-contractors plans and schedules.
- Identify contract variations, in particular, negotiate minor variations or additional work within overall scope of projects.
- Participation in tender preparation and review.
- Reporting on all facets of project performance as directed and required.
- Develop individual and team competence.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Substantial experience working in the construction industry.
- Substantial experience and proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget within the construction industry.
- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Pro.
