Senior Chef Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior chef to lead our kitchen team in providing high-quality culinary experiences for residents. As a senior chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the commercial kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare fresh and nutritious meals for residents in line with their dietary needs and wants
  • Manage all resources within the kitchen, including equipment and food supplies, to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain a hygienically clean kitchen that meets all relevant quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide innovative and engaging dining experiences for residents
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role
  • Strong customer-centric approach and relationship building skills
  • Ability to build relationships with older people
  • Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
