Parking Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team at Findmea. As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the amenity of our municipality by enforcing parking restrictions and promoting compliance with parking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce parking restrictions and regulations in accordance with the Road Safety Act and Regulations.
- Monitor and patrol streets, car parks, and other public areas to ensure compliance with parking controls.
- Prepare and issue infringement notices for alleged breaches of parking regulations.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with local traders and business owners to promote voluntary compliance with parking control measures.
- Conduct daily inspections and perform minor maintenance of parking equipment, including ticket machines and pay stations.
- Recommend and prepare reports on changes required to existing signage or new restrictions that may be required in a given area.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues independently.
- Organizational Abilities: Skilled in planning and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to work well with diverse groups.
- Tech Savvy: Competent in using technology for enforcement tasks.
- Team Player: Must work effectively in a team and be committed to public service.
- Victoria Driver's License (valid)
- National Police Check (with Stat Dec) issued within the last 6 months
- Ability to commit to rosters with a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
