Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Global Financial Reporting team in APAC. This role will be responsible for preparing and coordinating international statutory financial statements, regulatory reporting requirements, and ad-hoc accounting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate annual statutory financial statement preparation for multiple international entities under local GAAP/IFRS guidelines.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and other teams on financial statement preparation and statutory audits.
  • Prepare regulatory authority filings for Block's international entities.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual ad-hoc regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Research and document technical accounting analysis and implications.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP reporting standards.
  • 4+ years of financial reporting/accounting experience with large public multinational companies.
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience interpreting new IFRS and FASB guidance.
  • Familiarity with Oraclecloud, Hyperion/Essbase, Blackline, and Workiva.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
