About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our dynamic CFO Advisory team. As a key member of this team, you will assist clients with complex financial reporting matters, provide hands-on support during high-impact projects, and assist clients with implementing new Australian sustainability reporting standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Attending financial accounting workshops with clients and performing first-level reviews of draft technical accounting analyses prepared by offshore specialists.
  • Attending sustainability reporting workshops with clients and drafting reports to summarize key findings based on standard GT templates.
  • Providing practical hands-on support to client finance teams as they work through complex changes, such as finance transformations, acquisitions, divestments, IPO processes, or restructures.
  • Project management of engagements, including coordination of executive reviews and off-shore teams, overseeing client on-boarding processes, ensuring adherence to quality and risk management protocols, and taking responsibility for WIP management and billing.
  • Developing strong internal and external networks with peers and clients.
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals and general participation in business development initiatives.


Requirements



To be successful in this role, you will have:




  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with 3-4 years post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/AASB).
  • A background in professional services (audit/assurance) is preferred.
  • An interest in financial and non-financial reporting.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to build strong client relationships.
