About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the Reliability Team and drive the effective management of engineering CAMO functions within the Reliability Program. As the Reliability Leader, you will provide guidance and direction to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, optimize system and component reliability, and enhance fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Management: Ensure team adherence to Part 42 exposition (CAME), procedures (EBP2), and work instructions.
- Technical Analysis: Lead the team in analyzing performance data to optimize system and component reliability.
- Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence by maintaining effective communication, mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance fleet performance.
- Performance Indicators: Establish clear performance metrics and model leadership behaviors.
- Team Development: Ensure staff training and development plans are aligned with company requirements.
- Roster Management: Oversee the effective deployment of staff via roster management and support when required.
Requirements
- Aircraft engineer license in category B1, B2, or equivalent with type ratings and/or credits on current Virgin Australia aircraft types or similar complexity.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Airline Technical Services Management, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Extensive experience with airline Engineering and Maintenance systems (EMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
