About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer - Mechanical to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance Reliability Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support by applying Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to drive defect elimination, improvement initiatives, and identify opportunities to support safe and reliable fixed plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support
    • Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to drive defect elimination and improvement initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to support safe and reliable fixed plant operations.
  • Relationship Building
    • Establish and maintain relationships with the fixed plant maintenance, production, planning, inventory, and engineering teams.
  • Problem Solving
    • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Leadership
    • Support and be an advocate for BHP Operating System (BOS) Principles and Practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Education
    • Degree in Engineering.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient-level of experience with all Microsoft Office Applications & 1SAP.
  • Soft Skills
    • Ability to influence, engage, and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
    • Ability to apply management of change and risk principles.
