About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance Reliability Team as a Reliability Engineer - Mechanical. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical support to drive defect elimination, improvement initiatives, and identify opportunities to support safe and reliable fixed plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to drive defect elimination and improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to support safe and reliable fixed plant operations.
- Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain relationships with the fixed plant maintenance, production, planning, inventory, and engineering teams.
- Problem Solving
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
- Leadership
- Support Field Leadership, Safety Audits, Risk Assessments, and Safety Initiatives that drive positive safety outcomes.
- Initiative and Project Management
- Identify and drive initiatives/projects to capture value across: Safety, Volume, Cost, and Culture.
- Technical Guidance
- Provide technical support and guidance to Fixed Plant Maintenance team/s.
- Asset Management
- Manage End-to-End asset life cycle and consistently optimize asset management strategies to deliver business requirements.
- Communication
- Build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive outcomes to deliver business goals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Education
- Degree in Engineering.
- Communication and Influence
- Ability to influence, engage, and communicate with stakeholders effectively across all levels of the business.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration
- Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient-level of experience with all Microsoft Office Applications and 1SAP.
- Leadership and Adaptability
- Ability to apply management of change and risk principles.
- Willingness and ability to learn, adapt to change, and step-up as a leadership delegate when required.
- Industry Experience
- Solid experience as a Reliability Engineer or Maintenance Engineer within the mining or oil and gas sector will be highly advantageous.
