About You :

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of retail store experience.

Position Summary :

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, participating in stocktake, and ensuring the store is clean and tidy. You will also be expected to upsell products to customers and engage with them in a pleasant manner.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of working in a retail store environment.
  • Proven successful experience in customer service with a strong focus on building rapport with customers.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage people in a pleasant manner.

Job Responsibility :

  • Greet customers with a smile, a warm greeting, and a positive attitude.
  • Assist customers with finding products they are looking for and encourage them to return.
  • Upsell products to customers and provide recommendations.
  • Listen to, interact with, and build rapport with customers.
  • Communicate customer feedback to Management.
  • Inform other team members and management of potential hazards and near-miss incidents.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Follow directions from managers.
  • Hand out promotional brochures and assist customer enquiries.
  • Advise customers on the price of items.
  • Notify Store Manager when items are out of stock.
  • Operate cash registers, take payments, and handle cash transactions.
  • Packaging of goods for customers.
  • Ensure the store is clean and tidy, and that products are priced and displayed.
  • Participate in periodical stocktake of all goods.
  • Arrange for damaged goods to be repaired or exchanged.
  • Other duties as reasonably required.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include working on a beautiful green island on the Great Barrier Reef and opportunities for career growth and development.
