Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and committed Account Manager to join our Client Services team, primarily based in the Brisbane CBD. This role involves cultivating long-term client relationships, overseeing various minor projects, and ensuring the delivery of electrical and communication services.

A key aspect of this position is maintaining our high standards while enhancing profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects and service works are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Ensure strict adherence to HSEQ standards to maintain safety and compliance across all project and service sites.
  3. Manage financial reports and oversee monthly client invoicing for accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Identify opportunities for account growth and generate new business within existing accounts.
  5. Lead and coordinate project and service teams to maximize efficiency and performance.
  6. Understand client needs and objectives, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
  7. Prepare and present regular reports on account status and performance.
  8. Estimate and tender on project and service work, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.
  9. Resolve client issues and handle complaints promptly.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years post-trade electrical experience.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or Leadership and Management (or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Cablers Licence (Preferred).
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role.
  • Experience in job estimating and quoting.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook); familiarity with simPRO is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
