ESG Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Project Manager to lead climate, sustainability, and ESG assurance engagements globally.

This is a key member role within our Corporate Assurance team in Australia, providing independent assurance of GHG/ESG information with multinational clients across various sectors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Delivery: Manage projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication, site visits, and management report closeouts.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the team's success by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and developing proposals.
  • People Management: Recruit, mentor, and support the development of project team members, including direct reports.

You will work closely with our global team, embracing hybrid working arrangements and occasional international travel for client site visits. A degree-level education in a relevant field, 5-6 years of professional experience, and expertise in project management are essential. Strong understanding of assurance standards, broad knowledge of ESG topics, and experience with Australian regulatory reporting obligations are highly desirable.
