About this role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team in providing in-home practical support and childcare services to families in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver home-based emergency care to children within the family
- Provide essential support to families facing challenges
- A thorough understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, along with an awareness of current issues affecting Aboriginal children, young people, and their families
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable families and children to address practical issues, including emergency childcare
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and exercise initiative when working independently
