Senior Systems Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to provide expert-level support across Windows Server Infrastructure, Active Directory, and SCOM environments.

This is a critical role where you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Department's Windows Server Infrastructure, delivering technical advice and guidance to stakeholders and technical peers, and developing high-quality documentation, processes, procedures, and reports in line with departmental standards.

You will participate in support rosters to ensure server infrastructure operates seamlessly and perform after-hours or on-call support as required.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • Expert-level experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft SCOM.
  • Strong background with Azure B2C and ADFS.
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting.
  • Proven experience with ITIL-based Change & Release Management in large enterprise environments.
Essential Skills
  • Strong technical documentation and process writing ability.
  • Hands-on administration of Microsoft Office 365.
Highly Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager.
  • Familiarity with C# scripting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Conditional Access and modern security compliance methods.
  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications in Server Administration and related technologies.
