We are seeking a skilled Senior Risk Analyst to fill a key role in our financial risk management group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Model Operation: Manage the operation of key risk models, including data sourcing, validation, and reconciliation of model inputs and outputs.

  • Maintenance and Communication: Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk models, methodologies, and assumptions. Communicate market developments and trading position changes across the commodity portfolio in a clear and effective manner.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in economics, mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in energy derivatives and commodity markets is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
  • A high attention to detail, particularly in data validation and reconciliation.
  • A solid understanding of quantitative finance concepts, including Value at Risk (VaR) and option pricing.
  • Proficiency in programming and data tools such as VBA, SQL, and Python.
