About the Role

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to support our daily operations and future growth by implementing robust solutions and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain network and server systems to ensure high availability and performance
  • Identify and resolve issues related to network infrastructure, hardware components and software applications
  • Monitor and maintain file storage systems
  • Manage regular backups and recovery operations
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of new hardware and software
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies
  • Support other IT team members, acting as an escalation point for service desk requests and support ongoing projects

  • Provide recommendations on improvements whilst staying aligned with current industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements

We are looking for someone with industry experience in a technical support or administrator role (~2 Years). The ideal candidate should have proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems and Server environments (macOS desirable), experience with backup technologies and disaster recovery systems, well-rounded knowledge of Microsoft networking fundamentals (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, Routing) and security best practices, management skills of networking infrastructure; switches, routers, WAPs, experience with Microsoft 365 applications and management, working knowledge of mass storage devices (NetApp preferred), experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
