- Prepare timely, accurate and authoritative briefings on a wide range of economic and financial policy issues for senior management and government.
- Communicate and consult in an effective and influential manner with stakeholders.
- Make contributions to major government reports, reviews and publications.
- You must have experience in providing quantitative policy advice.
- You should have a record of achievement using economic principles, analytical, research, and quantitative skills, with an understanding of quantitative analysis.
- You should be able to analyse complex datasets using statistical software such as Stata or R, including the development of modelling to identify issues and to assess the fiscal implications of policy ideas.
- You should be able to provide strategic and influential advice to senior management or government on key policy issues in the economy.
- You should have strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex issues persuasively and effectively. Ability to work collaboratively or on a self-directed basis.
- You should be able to identify, build and maintain strong networks and relationships with stakeholders.
