Role OverviewThe Deputy Secretary for Sport and Experience Economy will lead policy development, strategy implementation, and project management within the sport and experience economy portfolios. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including local government, sporting organisations, and community groups, to drive initiatives that have a positive impact on communities.
This fixed-term position is classified as a Senior Executive Service Level 3 (SES-3) and requires a strong understanding of policy development, stakeholder engagement, and project management. The successful candidate will work closely with Creative Victoria, other DJSIR groups, and Victorian Departments to achieve the department's objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and strategies to drive economic growth and job creation in Victoria.
- Lead project management and stakeholder engagement activities to deliver outcomes that benefit communities.
