About the Role

As a key member of our educational institution, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director in coordinating and managing daily operations. In their absence, you will assume leadership responsibilities.

The primary objective is to develop and implement play-based learning programs that align with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and our institution's ethos.

Key duties include building strong relationships with children, families, and staff, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children, and contributing to the development and implementation of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

You will provide guidance and professional support to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.

This position requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building partnerships with families.

We seek candidates with a minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Bachelor level qualifications highly regarded).

Demonstrated knowledge of the QKLG and National Quality Standards (NQS) is essential.

Able leaders who can mentor staff and coordinate daily operations are required.

Candidates must possess current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, training in Child Protection, and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
