Project Planning and Approvals Director

This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental planning and approvals, impact assessment, and project management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical services, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth.

  • Lead and manage a team to secure major project approvals for clients in the renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and expand ERM's network of excellent client relationships.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee and deliver high-profile projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance team culture, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute business growth strategies, identifying new opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, impact assessment, and project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
