Job Opportunity: Legal Expertise for Renewable Energy

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to contribute to the development of Australia's clean energy sector. The successful candidate will have expertise in electricity, energy projects, and renewables.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the wider team to navigate complex legal and regulatory issues in the electricity and renewables sector.
  • Provide expert advice on energy, electricity, and renewables law, including compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft and negotiate key commercial agreements, including project financing contracts.
  • Support project development, acquisitions, and joint ventures across solar, battery, and hybrid energy projects.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 7+ years PQE with expertise in electricity, energy projects, and renewables.
  • Coming out of private practice or holding equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability in drafting and negotiating project, infrastructure, or energy contracts.
  • Commercial acumen with the capacity to balance legal risk and business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Motivated to be part of a fast-growing company shaping the energy landscape.
