Energy Law Expert

About the Role:

  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal issues in the electricity sector.
  • Advise on energy, electricity, and renewables law, including compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including EPC, O&M, PPA, and project financing contracts.
  • Support project development, acquisitions, and joint ventures across solar, battery, and hybrid energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice on energy law and regulations.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Develop effective solutions to complex legal problems.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business growth and success.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years PQE with expertise in electricity and energy projects.
  • Experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance risk and objectives.
  • Confident working autonomously while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
