We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to fill a challenging role within our organization. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all parts and materials required to carry out repair activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Ordering and procurement of daily supplies and materials
- Tracking and verifying the delivery of ordered goods in a timely manner
- Ensuring accurate provision of correct parts to technicians for approved repairs and rework activities
- Recording completed repairs by technicians, tracking progress, and providing monthly reports to leadership if applicable
- Documenting rework and reason codes on paperwork and including this information in monthly reports to leadership if applicable
- Investigating rework cases by consulting with leadership
- Updating and maintaining part logs to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Processing purchase requests with attention to detail and following up regularly to ensure timely receipt of orders if applicable
- Conducting quality inspections on critical parts upon receipt
- Documenting all part inspections
- Supporting new part development
- Reviewing part costs and researching available options in the market
- Monitoring changes to parts and suppliers in collaboration with leadership prior to making changes or approvals
- Providing general customer service related to part orders, statuses, and deliveries
- Ensuring all processes align with ISO 13485:2016 standards
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
