Accounting Professional: Lease and Fixed Assets Expert

The ideal candidate will support key accounting processes related to lease accounting, fixed assets, and capital project tracking. This role includes preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, investigating variances, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Real Estate, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Information Technology.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Monthly Close Process: Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare Journal Entries: Document transactions for fixed asset purchases, lease activity, and capital expenditures.
  • Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Analyze and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Support Lease Accounting under ASC 842: Coordinate system entries and collaborate with Real Estate and Legal teams.
  • Track Software Development Costs: Monitor internal-use software development costs and capital labor efforts in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain Capital Project Schedules: Track spend against budget for capital projects.
