About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Ventia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO), which is an international effort supported by 16 countries to build the world's largest radio telescopes.

As a key member of our project team, you will oversee and manage electrical and instrumentation subcontractors, ensuring their work meets project specifications and timelines. You will review LV electrical and instrumentation control designs, including single line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams, ensuring they meet project and industry standards.

You will collaborate with the project manager to develop and manage the schedule for electrical and instrumentation work, ensuring critical milestones are met. Additionally, you will monitor and control costs for electrical and instrumentation work, evaluating subcontractor variations and managing any budget changes effectively.

About You
  • You have a degree in Electrical Engineering and significant experience with Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Systems and Instrumentation on large projects.
  • You possess expertise in project engineering processes, including design review, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and budget control.
  • You have hands-on experience with testing and commissioning of LV systems and instrumentation.
  • You have strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations for electrical installations.
