Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to join our team at Spotlight. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability
  • Manage and maintain a high level of product knowledge and ensure that all employees are equipped to provide excellent customer service
  • Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing stock discrepancies
  • Conduct regular team meetings and coaching sessions to ensure employees are aware of their roles and responsibilities and are working towards achieving business objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in retail management, preferably in a big box or large format volume retailer
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including head office and regional teams
