Job Title:

Internal Controls Assurance Specialist

Job Description:
  1. Conduct comprehensive reviews of business processes, systems, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop and implement robust control environments that mitigate operational and IT risk.
  3. Identify and address current and emerging risks through proactive issue escalation and mitigation strategies.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Lead large project engagements from planning to final reporting, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  6. Provide regular updates to management on internal control efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the presentation of observations to senior leadership.
  7. Support Partners with special project work around new and emerging areas of risk and corresponding controls comfort.

With a background in internal controls and assurance expertise, you will provide organisations within the wealth management industry with confidence in their business processes.

You possess a deep understanding of Australian control reporting standards, including GS007, ASAE 3402, ASAE 3150, or their international equivalents (ISAE 3402, SOC 1, SSAE, AAF, etc.)
