We are seeking a Digital Fairness Specialist to lead our initiative on the use of automated decision-making systems and artificial intelligence in public service delivery.

Job Title

The successful candidate will develop and implement policies and programs related to investigations into the use of AI in administration of public services and programs, ensuring administrative fairness and equity in decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement policies and programs related to investigations into the use of AI in administration of public services and programs.
  2. Provide guidance to public bodies to safeguard the principles of administrative fairness and equity in decision making.
  3. Facilitate external consultation and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the needs of British Columbians are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possession of a degree in a relevant field, such as policy development, research, or technical expertise in AI.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
