Job Title: Partner Account Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Partner Account Manager to lead our Datacenter Infrastructure Solutions business in the commercial space. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and profits in assigned territories through Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive Datacenter Infrastructure solutions revenue and profits in assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key ISG pre-sales and sales staff in our Business Partners.
  • Cultivate large ISG deals with Business Partners and drive them to closure with support from cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with executives and influencers in assigned partners.
  • Establish trust and confidence with channel partners and customers through consultative selling.
  • End-to-end ownership of channel ISG opportunities, including opportunity identification, creation, progression, and closure.
  • Plan and execute partner marketing activities relevant to ISG, including promotions and incentives.
  • Ensure Business Partners' compliance with Lenovo standards of business conduct and integrity.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams on technology and process engagements.
  • Develop a sales and technical community amongst top-tier partners and improve Lenovo solutions knowledge amongst key contacts.
  • Understand and document each partner's solution capability and identify opportunities for product fit.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of successful track record of channel sales/direct sales experience in the IT market (preferably in a people management role).
  • Good communication skills and conversant with current data center technology trends.
  • Aware of the partner ecosystem in the country.
  • Should be dealing with Backup solutions, Endpoint Security, Enterprise Datacenter products, HCI, ARS, HPC, Cloud (public & hybrid) for major part of their career.
  • Ability to multi-task, research, and analyze different situations.
  • Strong presentation, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • High level of customer focus.
