Research Fellow in Psychology/Neuroscience for Eating Disorders

Monash University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team in the Addiction and Impulsivity Research Lab. As a key member of our multidisciplinary project team, you will contribute to the development of innovative multimodal assessment and intervention studies focused on eating disorders.
This role will involve coordinating research and treatment protocols that incorporate biological, psychological, and functional assessments. You will work closely with neuroscientists, clinical psychologists, and clinical scientists to drive research aimed at improving our understanding and treatment of eating disorders.
As a Research Fellow, you will have the opportunity to supervise research staff, provide guidance to junior researchers, and contribute to or prepare research proposals for submission to external funding bodies. You will also be involved in overseeing the conduct of research, producing high-quality publications, and presenting findings at national and international forums.
About the RoleWe are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline such as Psychology or Neuroscience, or equivalent qualifications and research experience. You will also bring demonstrated skills in statistical analysis, research proposal writing, and manuscript preparation, as well as experience in clinical study coordination and cognitive assessments.
A solid understanding of data management systems like RedCAP and experience working with populations affected by eating disorders are essential for this role.
