Research Fellow in Psychology/Neuroscience for Eating Disorders

Monash University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team in the field of eating disorders research. As a Research Fellow, you will be responsible for coordinating innovative multimodal assessment and intervention studies focused on eating disorders.
About the RoleThis is a 2-year fixed-term appointment, and you will be working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary project team that includes neuroscientists, clinical psychologists, and clinical scientists. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing comprehensive research and treatment protocols that incorporate biological, psychological, and functional assessments.
- Coordinating research studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Supervising research staff and providing guidance to junior researchers.
- Contributing to or preparing research proposals for submission to external funding bodies.
- Overseeing the conduct of research, producing high-quality publications, and presenting findings at national and international forums.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline such as Psychology or Neuroscience, or equivalent qualifications and research experience. You will also need to demonstrate skills in statistical analysis, research proposal writing, and manuscript preparation, as well as experience in clinical study coordination and cognitive assessments.
