Research Fellow in Psychology/Neuroscience for Eating Disorders

Monash University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to contribute to the Addiction and Impulsivity Research Lab and the Australian Centre for Eating Disorders Research and Translation. As a key member of the research team, you will play a vital role in advancing our understanding and treatment of eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate innovative multimodal assessment and intervention studies focused on eating disorders
- Develop comprehensive research and treatment protocols that incorporate biological, psychological, and functional assessments
- Supervise research staff, provide guidance to junior researchers, and contribute to or prepare research proposals for submission to external funding bodies
- Oversee the conduct of research, produce high-quality publications, and present findings at national and international forums
We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline such as Psychology or Neuroscience, or equivalent qualifications and research experience. You will also bring demonstrated skills in statistical analysis, research proposal writing, and manuscript preparation, as well as experience in clinical study coordination and cognitive assessments. A solid understanding of data management systems like RedCAP and experience with populations affected by eating disorders are also key to this role.
