Research Fellow in Psychology/Neuroscience for Eating Disorders Specialist

Monash University is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team in the field of Eating Disorders and Neuroscience. As a Research Fellow, you will be responsible for coordinating innovative multimodal assessment and intervention studies focused on eating disorders.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the broader research efforts of the Australian Centre for Eating Disorders Research and Translation. You will work closely with a dynamic multidisciplinary project team that includes neuroscientists, clinical psychologists, and clinical scientists to drive research aimed at improving our understanding and treatment of eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate innovative multimodal assessment and intervention studies focused on eating disorders
- Develop comprehensive research and treatment protocols that incorporate biological, psychological, and functional assessments
- Supervise research staff, provide guidance to junior researchers, and contribute to or prepare research proposals for submission to external funding bodies
- Oversee the conduct of research, produce high-quality publications, and present findings at national and international forums
Requirements:
- Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline such as Psychology or Neuroscience, or equivalent qualifications and research experience
- Demonstrated skills in statistical analysis, research proposal writing, and manuscript preparation
- Experience in clinical study coordination and cognitive assessments
- Solid understanding of data management systems like RedCAP and experience with populations affected by eating disorders
