Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Treatment Room Supervisor to lead our dynamic practice. This role is essential in providing a wide range of onsite services tailored to meet the needs of our community and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of services within the treatment room of a medical centre, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals.
- Perform various clinical tasks under the guidance of healthcare providers, including but not limited to: conducting health assessments, administering vaccinations, collecting pathology samples, monitoring ECGs, managing wound care, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of equipment.
- Establish rapport with patients to enhance their comfort prior to procedures or treatments.
- Triage patients and assist healthcare professionals during medical procedures.
- Support the Practice Manager in staff management, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations of treatment room personnel.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with the Practice Manager and treatment room staff.
Candidate Profile
- Registered Nurse with experience in General Practice or Acute Care settings; prior leadership experience is advantageous, though we are committed to supporting your professional development.
- Genuine passion for healthcare and a desire to improve community health outcomes.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
- Must possess unrestricted work rights in Australia and provide proof of vaccination history and immunity.
