About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Treatment Room team in a busy medical practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical duties and staff management.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will play a key role in our medical centre team and have the initiative to make decisions and work independently when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the provision of services within the treatment room, assisting Health Care Professionals as needed.
  • Conduct a range of clinical duties, including pathology collection, vaccinations, and wound dressings.
  • Build relationships with patients to create a comfortable experience prior to procedures or treatments.
  • Triage patients and assist Health Care Professionals in procedures.
  • Assist the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment, and staff performance management.
  • Liaise with the Practice Manager and treatment room staff to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
About You
  • You will be a Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting.
  • You will be passionate about healthcare and improving the lives of those in our community.
  • You will play a key role in our medical centre team and evolving business, with the initiative to make decisions and work independently when required.
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues.
