Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and clean public areas of the hotel, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Prepare, cook, and deliver ordered meals and snacks, adhering to food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Provide prompt and efficient service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, taking on varied tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
Requirements
  • Strong ability to provide exceptional service and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Willingness to work across different departments, taking on varied tasks and responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (i.e., Opera) and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • High standards of cleanliness and organisation, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Hold a valid QLD RSA (Response Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends, with minimal supervision.
