Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled HR Strategist and Employee Advocate to join our team. In this influential role, you will provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle while leading the delivery of key HR initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer practical advice to People Managers on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations, ensuring confident handling of grievances and performance issues.
  • Support workforce planning, capability development, and organisational design, driving business growth through effective talent management.
  • Partner with project teams to deliver consistent HR support across the employee lifecycle, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and implement performance, talent, and reward frameworks aligned with organisational goals, providing guidance on cyclical HR processes and benchmarking.
  • Deliver operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.
  • Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives, coordinating regional programs including the annual Graduate Program.
  • Assist with change management, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related discipline.
  • Proven capability in an HR role within a large matrixed organisation, demonstrating strong advisor skills.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and workforce planning, with experience in supporting HR initiatives in a project-based environment.
  • Service-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive results.
  • Experience using Workday is highly advantageous, as well as strong MS Office suite skills.
