
Support Care Specialist

This role is for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support people in their day-to-day living. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care in our supported independent living accommodation settings, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
Job Description:
Our team of Disability Support Workers provide direct support across a range of customer needs including domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide domestic and personal care assistance
- Assist customers to access and engage with their community
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
- Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
- Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
