About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and caring support worker to join our care team. This is a full-time role with 36 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified staff with individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated.
  • Provide support with day-to-day activities, encouraging and promoting independent living.
  • Support with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes.
  • Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
  • Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff.
  • Support the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists.
