Diabetes Care Specialist

This position involves empowering individuals to live healthier lives by providing patient-centered care for those with diabetes.

You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including Endocrinologists, Dietitians and Allied Health professionals, to deliver holistic, patient-focused care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care, education, and support to patients with Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational diabetes
  • Work in a dynamic hospital environment
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through evidence-based practice and effective communication
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Completed Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management and Education or equivalent experience
  • Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) or eligible for CDE or willingness to obtain
