The University of Notre Dame Australia is seeking expressions of interest from qualified professionals to join our team as Academic Sessional Lecturers in the School of Medicine.
We are looking for individuals with a passion for teaching and a strong background in public health or a related field. As an Academic Sessional Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of our medical education programs, working closely with our experienced faculty members.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-quality teaching sessions to students in the School of Medicine.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to support their academic success.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in teaching and learning.
- Strong teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the University of Notre Dame Australia.
- Master's degree in public health or a related field.
- Experience in teaching and learning in a higher education setting.
- Strong knowledge of public health principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
