About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Support Officer to join our team at Team Global Express. As an Operations Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our freight solutions and customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately record all client information and investigations into our computer systems.
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping of inbound freight and provide attention to requirements.
  • Ensure all customer enquiries are actioned and resolved to company and client satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with clients and contact center staff regularly through various platforms.
  • Provide feedback to the Supervisor regarding service failures by sub contractors or staff drivers.
  • Assist in finding solutions to prevent recurrence of service failures.
  • Support Admin and Operational team members in a backup capacity.
  • Handle enquiries in a professional and prompt manner.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in data entry and time management.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent team player with ability to resolve conflict and negotiate solutions.
  • Ability to handle freight and previous experience in the transport industry is highly advantageous.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent telephone manner.
