This position ensures the smooth operation of all hotel departments during the night shift, maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety. The Night Shift Operations Manager ensures the highest level of customer service is offered and maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily revenue postings and reconciliations
  • Checking in and out guests as required
  • Preparing and distributing reports to inter-departments
  • Managing reservation details and accounts for in-house guests
  • Collating paperwork for departures and coordinating with the Rooms Division team
  • Providing supervision and support to the Rooms Division team and other departments
  • Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Ensuring an effective handover of issues between Night Audit, Reception, Reservations, Maintenance, and Housekeeping
  • Maximising guest satisfaction and safety

Requirements:

  • Previous night auditor experience
  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems
  • Exceptional grooming, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays
