We are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to lead our multidisciplinary Child Development Assessment Service.
About the RoleThis position provides specialist clinical assessment and leadership in the delivery of speech pathology services to children with communication and feeding difficulties.
- Lead and manage the delivery of speech pathology services to children with communication and feeding difficulties.
- Oversee and provide an efficient and effective service through the application of clinical expertise and knowledge in the management of paediatric clients with a range of communication and feeding difficulties and other complexities or specialised needs.
- Contribute to senior departmental duties including clinical supervision, leading of quality improvement activities, participation in service development and other administrative responsibilities as required.
- A bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology which is accredited as eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students and commitment to individual and team-based professional development and lifelong learning.
- Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
The position will be responsible for:
- Leading, guiding and managing the delivery of speech pathology services to children with communication and feeding difficulties.
