We are seeking a highly skilled Data Driven Capital Solutions Lead to join our Institutional Banking & Markets team.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for providing quantitative and analytical support to our Capital Structuring businesses, working closely with practitioners in Securitisation and Credit Portfolio Management, risk and finance disciplines, and technology teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing new initiatives to enhance infrastructure for Capital Structuring teams
  • Analyzing data and developing tools to provide insights into bank exposures
  • Designing and developing more efficient ways of doing things
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure systems and processes meet process, product, and technology requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Python knowledge and experience, or high levels of competence in other object-oriented languages
  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial modeling
  • Familiarity with web design is useful
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL databases, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities
  • A good understanding of financial markets is advantageous
  • Tertiary qualifications in a numerate, engineering, and/or IT-based discipline or relevant industry experience
