We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team, who is passionate about building next-generation data platforms across the bank. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative data solutions that power seamless experiences for millions of customers.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in software development and a passion for providing data-driven solutions. You will work at the forefront of Big Data and Data warehouse technologies, staying ahead of the latest trends and innovations in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop state-of-the-art data solutions that meet business objectives and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technology blueprints and engineering roadmaps for multi-year data transformational journeys.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and ensure data governance best practices.
  • Contribute to existing practices and help educate stakeholders on data-related topics.
  • Maintain expertise in a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks, including Hadoop, Teradata, Spark, ETL frameworks, and cloud technologies like AWS and Snowflake.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Big Data and Data warehouse technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools.
