We're seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that drive business insights and decision-making.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from data warehousing and business intelligence to machine learning and artificial intelligence. You will lead a team of talented engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale data systems
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of engineers
• Strong technical skills, with expertise in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
• A passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of data engineering

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including:
