Financial Analysis Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial management group, you'll play a vital role in analyzing and controlling key cost lines.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering timely and accurate monthly financial forecasts and reports.
  2. Analyzing variances in Prime Materials and R&M costs, and providing actionable insights.
  3. Developing and enhancing forecasting models and dashboards (e.g., using Qlik).
  4. Managing Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and supporting CapEx project costing and reporting.
  5. Overseeing financial aspects of Major Shutdown (MSD) events, including inventory and contractor spend.
  6. Contributing to the annual budget process and integrating key cost data.

In addition to your analytical skills, you'll need to have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as experience with ERP systems (Oracle Hyperion or SAP desirable).

Our ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Accountancy or Commerce, be CA or CPA qualified, and have 3–5 years' experience in financial or management accounting.
